Welcome to SocSciCAM-IM

Welcome to the home page of the Social Science Studies of Complementary (CAM) and Integrative Medicine (IM) group.  We are a recognized special interest group of the Society for Medical Anthropology, although we welcome members of all social science disciplines to join us for discussion and information exchange.

This website is the next step in moving SocSciCAM-IM towards becoming an interactive community. The site facilitates this transition through the use of discussion forums and by allowing members to contribute items of interst to their fellow researchers.

How do I use this site?

This site will best serve the needs of members when members themselves contribute the content.  There are multiple options for contributing, including creating topics for discussion, and contributing comments to the discussion forum, posting information about upcoming conferences and lectures of interest, and distributing information about new publications (your own or others)  There is a specific page for conference abstracts, which we encourage you to post (e-mail esalkeld@ejsalkeld.net with abstract information) after a presentation.
