Hi All -
Two new things came to my attention as of late. The first is an announcement of an article of possible interest, culled from a list-serve post, and the other is a recent NYT column chronicling the author's battle with migranes. Although not the primary point of the narrative, her experience with CAM and the comparison she makes with allopathy is telling. Enjoy.

article examines the ideas and processes that shaped the construction of
an alternative and complementary agenda for 'indigenous' Ayurvedic medicine
in British colonial Punjab, in response to the consolidation of
wetsern medical authority and intervention."
