I'd like to try to put together a round table session for AAA on
challenges and strategies of being a CAM postdoc or conducting CAM
research in a non-CAM setting. The description follows below. Please
contact me if you are interested in participating. Thanks.
CAM postdocs, former CAM postdocs, and CAM center representatives are
invited to collaborate in a discussion of the challenges and highlights
of conducting CAM research using methodologies, theory, and design
sensitive to the epistemology of the CAM system or modality. The
discussion will also include institutional challenges experienced by CAM
scholars and researchers and offer ideas about how to work successfully
within institutions while creating supportive networks.
