| Dominican University - Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence: Chinese medicine and science

| The undergraduate Honors Program of Dominican University (located in River Forest, Illinois, 10 miles west of downtown Chicago) will apply for a Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence, working with a scholar from outside of the United States, to serve as our university's Lund-Gill Chair for the 2010-2011 academic year. We seek a scholar whose area of expertise is Chinese medicine and science, particularly its philosophy and practice, preferably in comparison with Western medicine and science. The Chair will teach an undergraduate course, give a public lecture, participate in other educational and scholarly activities on campus, and must have a good command of the English language. Preference will be given to applicants with previous experience teaching undergraduates in English.
The Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence/Lund-Gill Chair could be at Dominican for one semester or a full academic year. A stipend and housing expenses will be provided. The position is contingent on Dominican University's success in its Fulbright application. Excluded from applying: US citizens, persons holding or applying for a US green card, persons who have worked in the US in the last two years, and persons who have had a Fulbright grant in the last 5 years.
