The National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine awards individual
predoctoral research training fellowships to promising applicants with the
desire and potential to become productive, independent investigators in the
field of complementary and alternative medicine research. The primary objective
of this funding opportunity is to help ensure that diverse pools of highly
trained scientists will be available in adequate numbers and in appropriate
